Israeli media reports have highlighted growing concern and frustration within the Israeli occupation over Hezbollah’s escalating drone operations, with military correspondents describing a sense of helplessness among occupation soldiers stationed in northern occupied Palestine.

Israel Hayom's military affairs correspondent said Hezbollah continues to inflict a “very heavy price” on Israeli occupation forces through explosive-laden drones, while the occupation military has yet to provide an effective solution.

The correspondent described what they called the “Lebanese dilemma,” noting that Hezbollah drones continue to target occupation soldiers despite ongoing Israeli military operations in southern Lebanon.

According to the report, occupation soldiers in the North have expressed feelings of helplessness when suddenly spotting small drones overhead without prior warning systems being activated.

It added that the solutions currently offered by the IOF “do not succeed, even minimally, in providing an adequate response,” while Hezbollah continues to exact a growing toll on occupation forces.

Israeli military operations have failed to significantly alter the course of the confrontation or weaken Hezbollah fighters’ motivation and ability to continue engaging occupation troops, the report continues.

It also noted that several occupation soldiers were wounded in recent days as a result of drone attacks. During the past week alone, nine soldiers were reportedly injured in incidents in northern occupied Palestine, including three who were transferred for medical treatment in serious condition.

'The north is burning'

Israel Hayom's correspondent also warned that the continued confrontation in northern occupied Palestine, coupled with the absence of lasting solutions for settlers, is increasing fears that many settlers may permanently leave the area or refuse to return.

“The North is burning,” the correspondent wrote, noting that while life has resumed in other parts of "Israel", rockets and drones remain part of the settlers’ daily reality in frontline settlements near the Lebanese border.

The North is collapsing under “a feeling of abandonment,” with business owners struggling to survive economically while settlers continue living under constant uncertainty and fear.

Entire communities feel the Israeli government has abandoned them despite years of loyalty to the occupation, as per the report.

Israeli media outlets have increasingly discussed a growing “drone nightmare” facing the occupation. Israeli channel i24NEWS recently reported mounting confusion and concern within Israeli circles over Hezbollah’s drone operations.

At the same time, northern occupied Palestine has reportedly entered a state of near-total paralysis, with schools disrupted, bus transportation suspended, and businesses closed due to Hezbollah’s ongoing military operations targeting settlements, occupation military sites, and troop gatherings in response to the Israeli aggression on Lebanon.
