Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Sare'e said that the Saudi warplanes carried out 35 airstrikes over the past 24 hours, targeting five Yemeni provinces, and warned that the attacks will not go unanswered.

In a statement, the Armed Forces stated that the strikes targeted civilian infrastructure, including telecommunications networks and schools, in Taiz, Al-Jawf, Amran, Sa'adah and Hodeidah provinces.

The Armed Forces stressed that the aircraft involved included F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets, which they said took off from Saudi military air bases in Khamis Mushait and Taif.

The Armed Forces also said that the total number of Saudi airstrikes and missile attacks since the beginning of the escalation had reached 1,158.

The reported escalation comes amid renewed Saudi air operations across several Yemeni provinces, with recent strikes targeting civilian areas and infrastructure.

The latest attacks follow heightened military tensions between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, particularly along the western coast and in strategic areas of northern and central Yemen.
