A military source at the Ministry of Defense said claims circulated by Saudi Arabia alleging that Yemenis targeted a power station in Medina are entirely baseless.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the source said the latest allegations were an attempt to cover up the failure of an earlier claim that Yemen had targeted Mecca, as well as Saudi Arabia’s failure to impose its control over the Yemeni people.
The source reiterated that the Yemeni armed forces would not remain silent in the face of what it described as these false allegations, stressing that they reserve the right to respond to such unfounded accusations.
