The National Human Rights Commission condemned a series of brutal genocidal crimes committed today by Saudi enemy warplanes, including a massacre in Jabal Habashi District, Taiz Governorate.

In a statement issued today, the Commission explained that the Saudi enemy had perpetrated another horrific massacre, adding to its dark record stained with the blood of Yemen’s children and women.

The statement reported that Saudi enemy warplanes carried out direct and deliberate airstrikes on Al-Zahra Girls’ School and a health center in Al-Qahaf area of Jabal Habashi District, Taiz Governorate, during official school and working hours. The attacks resulted in a catastrophic preliminary toll of five martyrs and 15 injured, in a scene that breaks the heart and shocks the human conscience.

The statement further indicated that a drone belonging to the Saudi enemy’s forces targeted a woman’s home with a direct projectile in the Al-Harmiyah area of Jabal Habashi District. The attack left her injured and killed several of her livestock, which constituted her sole source of livelihood, as part of a policy of starvation and depriving people of their means of subsistence.

In the same context, the National Human Rights Commission explained that Saudi enemy warplanes continued their criminal aggression by targeting a civilian’s home and firing missiles at various areas of the border district of Baqim in Saada Governorate, causing extensive property damage and terrorizing children and women.

The Commission stated: “As it addresses these three simultaneous massacres, the Commission affirms to the world that the Saudi enemy is deliberately destroying Yemen’s present and future through its systematic targeting of schools, health centers, and citizens’ homes.”

The Commission held the Saudi enemy and its mercenaries fully criminally responsible for the massacre at Al-Zahra School and the health center in Al-Qahaf. It also held the United Nations, UNICEF, and the World Health Organization responsible for their shameful silence, calling on them to immediately condemn the targeting of female students and healthcare facilities.
