The Israeli newspaper Maariv criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s presentation of 10 points outlining what he called the “Israeli security concept,” highlighting a gap between his statements and the reality on the ground.

Netanyahu’s 10 points included “preventing the acquisition of nuclear weapons, deterrence, warning, initiative and maneuver, critical thinking, defense, alliances, technology and independence in force-building, the battle for awareness, victory, and the spirit of the people.”

According to Maariv, however, these principles amount to little more than headlines, casting doubt on Netanyahu’s ability to implement them within the "security and military establishment", particularly following the failures of October 7, 2023.
