The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has issued a stark warning against the Israeli enemy’s push to carry out a new large-scale campaign of forced displacement in Gaza.
The agency stated that such actions would lead to the establishment of massive, overcrowded camps along the Egyptian border—housing Palestinians who have already endured decades of repeated displacement.
UNRWA emphasized that this move would not only deepen the suffering of the Palestinian people but would also strip them of any remaining hope for a dignified future in their homeland.
“We cannot remain silent or complicit in the face of this mass forced displacement,” the agency declared in a statement.
UNRWA further stressed that the only path forward lies in achieving a “permanent ceasefire that includes the release of detainees and guarantees the safe and dignified flow of humanitarian aid.”
