The Health and Environment Office in Bajil District and Bajil Central Hospital in Al-Hodeidah organized a protest in solidarity with the people of Gaza and the Palestinian nation, condemning the massacres and genocide committed by the American-Zionist occupation against civilians in Gaza.

The protest was led by Health Office Director Mehran Al-Hassani and Deputy Director of Bajil Hospital Ali Al-Sarraji, alongside medical staff. Mohammed Ma’afa, Secretary-General of the Local Council, described the ongoing killings and destruction of Gaza’s health infrastructure as clear war crimes, criticizing international silence that enables these atrocities.

Participants condemned the systematic plan to exterminate Palestinians and displace them, affirming full solidarity with Gaza. They called for an immediate halt to aggression, lifting of the siege, and unrestricted humanitarian aid access.

A statement read by Deputy Health Director Mukhtar Jibaa denounced attacks on health facilities and medicine blockades as blatant violations of international law. It labeled the starvation policy in Gaza a war crime and held the U.S. responsible for supporting the occupation.

The statement called for urgent opening of crossings and increased Arab, Islamic, and popular action to support Palestine until freedom and independence are achieved.
