The Supreme Judicial Council held its regular meeting on Tuesday, chaired by President Judge Dr. Abdul-Mu’min Shujaa al-Din.

The Council discussed preparations for commemorating the Prophet Muhammad’s birth anniversary(peace be upon him), emphasizing the importance of thorough planning and broad engagement to reinforce spiritual and educational values.

The Council reviewed the judiciary’s draft annual plan and project matrix for 1447 AH, submitted by the Technical Unit of the National Vision. The plan includes ongoing and new projects, judicial automation, and capacity-building initiatives aimed at delivering swift and effective justice. Approval of the plan was postponed to the next meeting to allow members time for further review and feedback.

Additionally, the Council examined draft plans from the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights and the High Judicial Institute for 1447 AH, deferring decisions for more detailed consideration.

The Council approved the transfer of several public prosecution members to various offices, following a proposal from the Attorney General.

Other agenda items were discussed, necessary actions were directed, and the minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
