The capital, Sana’a, witnessed a massive women’s gathering during the grand central event organized by the Women’s Mobilization Department to commemorate the International Day of the Muslim Woman, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Lady Fatimah Al-Zahra (peace be upon her).

Speakers at the event stressed that the occasion represents an important spiritual station for renewing commitment to the divine path and deepening awareness of Islam’s view of women as presented in the Holy Qur’an, in contrast to attempts by enemies to distort this view and redirect the compass in favor of their destructive agendas.

They pointed out that Islam granted women an elevated status through a divine methodology aligned with human nature and the social fabric of society.

The birth anniversary of Lady Al-Zahra, they added, is an opportunity to reinforce the faith-based principles that uplift the human being and offer the highest model of righteous example.

At the conclusion of the event, cultural activist Radhiya Al-Houthi read a statement on behalf of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi.

The statement affirmed that recent developments in the region clearly reveal how some regimes have thrown themselves into the arms of the Zionist entity, even as its violations of international agreements in Gaza and Lebanon continue—reflecting the inherently aggressive nature of the occupation despite the presence of international guarantors.

It added that the latest Zionist crimes have stirred the conscience of people worldwide, while most Arab and Islamic regimes remain without any real stance.

Some have even gone beyond silence to provide economic, media, and intelligence support to the enemy—representing the most dangerous forms of moral collapse and betrayal.

The statement emphasized that the acceptance by certain regional parties of the "Middle East transformation project" under Israeli dominance indicates a profound flaw in awareness and insight.

It noted that the enemies have succeeded in subjugating some regimes, turning the nation’s wealth into resources for them, its lands into military bases, and its peoples into tools serving their agendas.

The statement warned that this reality requires a conscious and responsible position from the wider Islamic nation, especially amid the ongoing soft war targeting the faith identity and cultural foundations of Arab and Islamic societies.

The event also featured two performances by “The March Blossoms,” expressing the significance of the occasion and the esteemed status of Lady Fatimah Al-Zahra (peace be upon her).
