Brigadier General Mohammad Akrami Nia, spokesperson for the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stated that Iran has not considered the war to be over and has continued updating its list of targets with the same seriousness maintained during wartime, citing a lack of trust in America and its enemies.

In remarks made on Tuesday, Brigadier General Akrami Nia said, “We have not considered the war finished. From the day the war stopped — in other words, since the ceasefire was approved or silence fell over the battlefield — we have continued updating our targets with the same seriousness that existed during the days of war.”

He added that this approach stems from Iran’s distrust of America and its adversaries. He said the country has completed its target bank, continued military training, benefited from wartime experiences, and also manufactured, produced, developed, and modernized its military equipment.

“Therefore, for us, the conditions remain wartime conditions,” he said.

Akrami Nia further stated that follow-up operations, surveillance, monitoring, and preparations have continued without interruption.

“I now assure the people of Iran that if the enemy dares to commit another act of aggression, it will face new tools, new methods, and new battlefields,” he said.

He emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran, including the Iranian Army, will use these modern tools and the experience it gained from the two wars that lasted 12 days and 40 days to confront the enemy decisively and firmly in new arenas.
