The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Thursday that six fatalities and 34 injuries arrived at hospitals across the enclave during the past 24 hours.
In its daily statistical report, the ministry said the fatalities included four newly killed victims, one person who succumbed to wounds sustained earlier, and the recovery of one body from beneath the rubble.
The ministry stressed that many victims remain trapped under debris and in roads and targeted areas, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
According to the report, since the ceasefire decision came into effect on October 11 last year, a total of 1,214 people have been killed, 3,977 others have been injured, and the bodies of 804 victims have been recovered.
The ministry further reported that the overall toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,341 people killed and 174,086 injured with varying degrees of wounds.
