In a speech delivered, Thursday, marking the anniversary of the Saudi enemy’s massacre at the Great Hall, Leader al-Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badruddin al-Houthi warned of the dangers of becoming involved with the Saudi enemy in its aggression against the Yemeni people. He offered the Qatari regime advice against submitting to Saudi dictates and joining the aggression against Yemen.
“Yesterday, we advised the Qatari regime, which has come to politically and media-wise adopt the Saudi aggression against our country. This level of participation amounts to taking part in the injustice inflicted on our people,” he said.
He added: “Yesterday, we reminded Qatar of what the Saudis did to it, and we say: We remind you of facts you experienced firsthand. After you participated in the aggression against our country at the outset of the war, when the Saudis did not appreciate your actions, they launched a major campaign against you. The Saudi regime worked to isolate Qatar completely, imposed a political and economic boycott, resorted to military intimidation, and incited others against it.”
“We offer Qatar brotherly advice to reconsider its calculations. Our people are in the position of those suffering injustice and are defending their freedom,” he added.
Addressing the Qatari regime, al-Houthi said: “The Saudi regime hopes to bring about a change of government in Qatar, as happened with the Al Khalifa in Bahrain. Did the Saudi regime have any justification for doing all this to Qatar? You know that its ambitions toward you are extremely malign if it receives American approval.”
He noted that, under Emir Hamad, Qatar had worked to resolve disputes, to the point that this had greatly angered the Saudis. “Returning now to subordination to the Saudis in foreign policy is a very significant step backward,” he said.
Al-Houthi also asserted that the forefather of the House of Saud had given Palestine away to those he described as “the poor Jews,” or to whomever Britain wanted.
The Dangers of Becoming Involved with the Saudi Enemy
Al-Houthi stressed that anyone who supports the Saudi aggressor or entangles themselves with it in the Islamic world is implicating themselves, in every sense of the word, in sin, aggression, and criminality, along with all the consequences this carries before the scales of divine justice.
He explained that one of the greatest problems facing the Muslim nation is forgetting Allah when calculating allegiances, war and peace, and all other considerations. As a result, motives and calculations have become detached from religious values and ethics.
He emphasized that anyone who becomes involved with the Saudi aggressor harms themselves, their people, and their country. Every country and government, he said, should instead support the Palestinian people in a cause on which there is no ambiguity among peoples around the world.
“The Saudis lack neither money nor military capabilities, and they are partners of America, Britain, and Israel,” he added.
Al-Houthi pointed out that the Saudi regime was the one that initiated aggression against the Yemeni people when it launched its war on March 26, 2015, an announcement that took everyone by surprise, both domestically and regionally.
He stressed that anyone who becomes involved with the Saudi aggressor in its war against the Yemeni people stains their honor, brings disgrace upon themselves, and bears the sin of participating in the shedding of Yemeni blood.
“No one should think that participating in the shedding of the Yemeni people’s blood is a simple matter. The Saudi injustice inflicted on our people is among the most heinous forms of injustice, and the injustice suffered by our people is among the greatest cases of victimization in the world,” he said.
He affirmed that involvement with the Saudi aggressor carries serious consequences, adding that calculations detached from Islamic principles are satanic calculations.
Leader Abdul-Malik Badruddin al-Houthi advised anyone becoming involved with the Saudis in their aggression against the Yemeni people to learn a lesson from Omar al-Bashir, saying that standing alongside the Americans and Saudis against the Yemeni people without any justification had dragged him into a disastrous situation.
He added that all the political calculations and anticipated gains had proved to be mirages, while al-Bashir and the Janjaweed faced divine accountability.
“We are saddened by what is happening in Sudan, but al-Bashir’s calculations vanished, and everyone turned against him,” he said.
