The Zionist newspaper "The Jerusalem Post" has affirmed the existence of an undeclared Saudi-“Israeli” partnership against the Yemenis, while stating that published reports on the matter do not document any “Israeli” participation in direct combat.

In its editorial, the Zionist newspaper stated that “Israel” had provided intelligence and logistical assistance to Saudi Arabia through the U.S. Central Command. It considered Saudi Arabia’s and pro-Saudi forces’ announcement of taking control of the Bab al-Mandab Strait and expelling the “Yemenis” from it to remain mere claims that have yet to be proven true.

The newspaper noted that all Saudi response options against the Yemenis represent poor choices for bin Salman, as restraint would mean defeat against Yemen, while escalation would expose Saudi forces and their allies to greater risks. It would also weaken the deterrence message that Riyadh is attempting to establish through its new and unreliable partnerships.

It stressed that the presence of Yemenis in the Red Sea continues to prevent the return of international shipping routes and regular, direct shipments to the port of “Eilat.” This represents a shared Saudi-“Israeli” concern, regardless of whether Riyadh accelerates or postpones the expansion of its relations with the entity.

The “Israeli” newspaper concluded its editorial with a question whose answer is reflected in what is unfolding today at Saudi airports and facilities: “Is Riyadh capable of protecting its cities and trade routes and stopping the series of gains achieved by the Houthis?!”
