The official spokesman for the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, confirmed in a post on his Telegram channel that, as part of establishing the "blockade for blockade" equation and as a result of the Armed Forces tightening the naval ban on Saudi enemy oil vessels, eight Saudi oil tankers were forced to change their course toward the Cape of Good Hope.

He reaffirmed that the Armed Forces are continuing the blockade operation against the Saudi enemy and that the reach of the Armed Forces will target its ships, by Allah's will, wherever possible.

Furthermore, the Armed Forces extended greetings—with pride and appreciation—to the great, faithful, and steadfast Yemeni people for their million-man turnouts in public squares and grounds despite heavy rainfall, emphasizing that they will spare no effort to end the blockade imposed on the people and restore all their rights with Allah's help and strength.
