The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation announced in a statement that five soldiers sustained minor injuries in the town of Kafra, Bint Jbeil district, following a targeting conducted by Israeli enemy forces while army personnel were escorting a military vehicle assisting local residents in the town.
The army command explained that the attack occurred while the soldiers were accompanying a military vehicle carrying out duties related to supporting the residents of Kafra, which resulted in five soldiers suffering minor injuries.
This incident occurred hours after a tour conducted yesterday by the Commander of the Lebanese Army, General Rodolphe Haikal, to South Lebanon on the occasion of Army Day.
During the tour, General Haikal stressed that "every inch of our land is our right, and we refuse the continuation of the Zionist occupation on any part of our soil." He emphasized that "the sacrifices of our martyrs and wounded will not be in vain, and we will continue to stand by our people and support their return, no matter how great the challenges."
