The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement emphasized that the continuation of Zionist criminality against civilians in the Gaza Strip, along with the targeting of homes and families, underscores the urgent need for genuine guarantees that compel the Israeli enemy to fully implement the terms of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement.

In a press statement on Sunday, the movement's spokesman, Mohammad al-Hajj Musa, stated that these guarantees must include an immediate halt to killings, destruction, and targeted assassinations, as well as explicit recognition of the principle of full withdrawal from the entire Gaza Strip.

He added that this places the involved parties and mediators directly before their responsibility to enforce the implementation of these obligations on the ground.
