The Leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi has revealed details of the ongoing battles in the Bab al-Mandab area, explaining that the Saudi enemy opened a front from the desert extending from the outskirts of Lahj province, created a media halo around it, and presented many lies. Many channels fell into exaggeration and lies before the facts became clear and exposed them.
In his speech on Thursday marking the 10th anniversary of the Saudi aircraft bombing of the Grand Hall in Sana'a, the leader said the enemy opened a front from the outskirts of Lahj province to attack Bab al-Mandab.
He noted that Saudi, Zionist, American, and Western rage stems from Yemen's exercise of its national sovereignty over Bab al-Mandab. He considered this Yemen's right, and that the enemies are trying to restore foreign control and occupy that area of Yemeni land.
Sayyed Abdulmalik pointed out that what is notable in international politics is that no sensitivity has emerged from any state toward the Saudi attempt to turn Bab al-Mandab into a battlefield. He affirmed that the situation there is strong and effective, with the most severe punishment inflicted on the mobilizations there. However, the Saudi enemy is making Bab al-Mandab a zone of confrontation, which poses a danger to international navigation and affects it.
Yemenis Have the Will and Capabilities to Endure
He explained that Yemenis on their land move at any time, possess full determination with God's success, and have all elements of strength to remain steadfast no matter how long the war lasts. He noted that there are military tracks of great importance that are continuing.
He affirmed that the more the Saudi enemy continues its aggression and siege, the more it loses in oil exports, and its air and military bases, oil facilities, and officers are targeted. The effective performance of the Armed Forces is unprecedented and inflicts the greatest losses on the enemy.
The leader addressed the steadfastness of the Yemeni people since the beginning of the aggression on March 26, 2015. He said the great Yemeni people who fill the squares with all their energies, capabilities, and authentic belonging are defending their freedom and dignity against aggression and siege.
He affirmed that the Yemeni people's steadfastness has been great, and their path has been ascending in effectiveness, strength of position, development of military capabilities, military operations in the field, and effective confrontation of the Saudi aggressor. He noted that the transition between the beginning and today clarifies the course of events and facts. The Yemeni people are stronger, more effective, and greater in performance.
Their morale is firm, rooted, and deeply grounded, emanating from faith-based depth and moving in the position of truth. Therefore, the people of the country—Armed Forces, security, and reinforcements from Yemen's tribes—move with all steadfastness and pride, presenting the finest positions in the field in sacrifice, courage, bravery, and valor, with documented scenes.
Call to the Saudi Enemy to Reason
Sayyed Abdulmalik called on the Saudi enemy to reason and learn from the past, affirming that it cannot achieve its objectives of controlling the Yemeni people. He noted that the Yemeni people stand in an advanced position to confront the aggression, fires continue in oil facilities, sirens sound daily in many areas of Saudi Arabia, and in the field, strikes and the targeting of Saudi mobilizations do not stop.
He affirmed that the Saudi enemy is proceeding foolishly in every sense of the word. Many advised it to enter into an honorable peace based on the principle of respect and common denominators, but it acted arrogantly because it is "the most hostile of adversaries."
